So. History is taking place.
The Canadian Government is doing something worth talking about.
The Liberals, NDP, and BLOC QUEBECOIS are siding together to create a majority and essentially overthrow the Harper administration. This doesn't happen in Canada.
I think the only reason bloc actually decided to side with the liberals is cause of Stephan Dion ( obviously the economy was a factor, but I';m not sure they would have done it had it not meant a quebecois would be pm )
Finally, something in politics to be passionate about. |

Hey guys. Happy American Thanksgiving fora ll of you celebrating this weekend.
Yesterday we went shopping. My mom ghot me new shoes and some new shirts. Yay.
Even better, we bought a cake.
It's Ms Schweitzers birthday today, so me and my friend Cameron decided it would be some sort of weird party to decorate her door and bring a cake and everything. So we'll see what happens. (Ms Schweitzer is my history teacher)
I'll update y'all later, but I'm EXCITED. |

So I'm back from Toronto. Yay.
School tomorrow.
Remembrance day Tuesday. I have to wear concert black for that because the band is playing. Which I think is dumb. It'll totally ruin the feel and somber of the assembly to have us packing our shit and moving on and off stage.
That, and they're making us wear the poppies. On of my uncle's fought in the war, and the only memory I have of him (because he passed away when I was younger) was him telling me not to wear the poppy. His reasons? I don't care. The fact is, we were talking about remembrance day, and he said that memories and moments of silence spoke way louder for the fallen then wearing the poppy over your heart. |

So I'm in Toronto this weekend for the York open house. The only Internet we have right now is on my uncle's iPod Touch. I mean there's internet but this is actually faster. Which, if you think about it, it's kinda sad.
But anyway, York open house. York is on strike, so it was interesting to be there. At first it was uneventful, however, when we were eating lunch, some sort of alarm went off. The sense of urgency was alarming. It wasn't there. When the alarm went off people looked around and then resumed their eating. It was about ten minutes later when some authority figure came in and told is there was a real threat and we had to evacuate. Hardehar. So, what does everyone do? They take their sweet time gathering their belongings and trays. They bring everything down the hall in the same building and keep eating!
It was all very laughable really! Just the whole situation was funny to me. There were a shitload of ERVs, some guys with magaphones to hurry away from the common, and people everywhere taking as much time as possible to Evacuate.
So that was my drama for the day.Mood: groggy Music: 80s crap from the party down stairs

Moving on from someone sucks. No matter how much you know that nothing will ever happen (by no fault of yourself, simply because they are a dumbass), no matter how much you tell yourself theres no chance in hell. It doesn't help. The sun still shines from their ass.
Fuck.
I've been trying to move on by mentioning other people in front of them. Probably more to convince myself that I can do this, and that I can do better. But all thats resulted in is liking a grade nine and still liking the first person... EVEN FUCKING MORE.
This is dumb. This is stupid. This is why I despise emotions. This is the reason. |

Firefox is back BITCHESSSSS
I had trouble getting the new edition of firefox for the past few weeks, and I've been using a browser called Opera. It's really decent, but it closed every like.. half hour, and it was really annoying.
But my computer finally let me work Firefox.
For the Fucking WINN.
I'm pumped.
And also, it's about time that Huddy happened. (House MD). Holy shit there was a lot of pent up tension ahah.
Annnnd. I've set a weight loss goal. Yay. Current Weight: 196.7 lbs Goal Weight: 150 lbs
I actually think the main inspiration for my losing weight is The Biggest Loser. It really changed my whole perspective on life. And I've been eating healtheir these past few days, taking a yogurt instead of a whole bag of cookies, or having an apple juice instead of a brew. Ahah. Last one was a lie.
It's just like.. I just imagine Jillian Michaels (and all that TONED TONED TONED body) yelling at me being like 'I swear to God get off you ass and move' or 'You will not eat that whole pie right now, so help me God.'
But yeah. I'll keep you updated.. and.. try to post more. Yay

So I took this movie thing from fellow NCIS fanatic, Michelle. It's under the cut. I was at 218. I'm actually sad that my fave movies of all time weren't on there. The Halloweentown movies.. and The Halloween Tree.. Noit to mention SPICE WORLD.
ahahha
( Does this mean I have no life?! )

I'm still not over you. I do like them. But I talk about them more to make you jealous. Most likely in vain.
Also. Drama in HIH.. I don't get it. I don't understand it. Maybe I'm not around enough or something to understand, but I think it's useless drama. Get over it, and lets all be friends. Fighting will get neither you, or I, or the other parties involved any farther in life, so drop it, and save your issues for the tabloids.

For a grade nine, Sarah's probably the coolest person I've met in a long long while. Never you mind that I'm four or five years older. Age does not a friendship make.
Actually.. it's not my fault that Sarah, the fourteen year old, is more mature then plenty of people my age and older, including myself. It's pretty pathetic really.
Ehhhhh... I wish I had more to say.. but I really don't.. Except that I need to know whats happening with pumpkin patch.
Oh.. and I think maybe my taste in who I like is getting better! ahah.

Holy. Fucking. Hell.
I watch this girl after school every day, or at least 3/5 days. And on the two days I don't, I have tech crew. Saturday, I have band and Church, so basically this is my only day of rest.
Do you want to know where the girl is RIGHT NOW.
She's sitting in my living room playing my video games. SHe's a great kid. But I don't want to hang out with a ten year old during my only free time of the week.
And fuck my dad for letting her in.
She doesn't take 'k you need to go home now' for an answer either.
How hard is it to call up one of her little friends on the weekend? Honestly. I love the kid, but don't come over to my house at random intervals!

1. If you're on my friends list, I want to know a few things about you. I don't care if we never talk, or if we already know everything about each other. Short and sweet is fine ... you're on my list, so I want to know you better. You don't even have to answer all the questions, because some of them are lame and some just hard to think up.

I just got back from church. Now, nine oclock mass is basically all seniors.. and me. So none of these people are children. And yet, today before mass ended, father felt it necessary to scold us like school children.
And I approve of what he did.
Apparently, people have been leaving notes in the collection. Little complaints, you know 'do this differently.' Or 'I hate this'. And none of them have been signed. One even said 'You are fat. Bring back Dino' (He's a new pastor to our church.)
Father said he didn't have a problem with that.. He said when notes aren't signed they mean nothing to him.
What really got his goat was Yvonne, our organist and choir leader today. She stormed through the church so we assumed SOMETHING was wrong.
Turns out someone had left an unsigned note on her organ that said 'The music here is awful. When will it change?'
Let me tell you, I have never seen a catholic priest so pissed in my life.
How dare anyone insult Yvonne. She's talented, and over qualified. The music isn't bad. It's CHURCH music. Sorry if we can't be like the sister act. We just don't have whoopi, sorry! Church music and hymns just can't be jazzy.. This is the catholic church.. we sing HYMNS.
And it's not her fault that the choir boycotts 9am mass. Mostly because Guadelupe is a bunch of whiners. (Saturday mass is held at St Rose. Where everyone is friendly.)
I'm just pissed that someone would have the nerve to insult Yvonne. I'd really like to see whoever wrote the note go up and play organ instead. See how 'easy' it is.

Semester 2:
EM: Concert Band/Thoery P1: Spare P2: Canadian History, Thomas P3: Gym, Kitsos P4: World Issues, Crowley
Thoughts? Spare is agrade nine music. Thomas is amazing. Gym will be my exercise. Whatever.
Seussical.. or Basketball? I want to do both.. cause the musical means a lot to me.. but Basketball is like.. I love the sport.. I just never had a chance to try out cause of the damn musicals.
And honestly.. IT'S SEUSSICAL. Besides.. I was almost not in pit last year. who really cares.

| » New School Year is upon Us |
Douze. Twelve. 12. XII.
that's how many days I have left until school starts again.
This week has been busy. Well.. at least the past few days have been.
Wednesday, I spent the day at Michigan State helping my cousin Paige move into Rather in the Brody Complex. We met her new roommate, Lesley, and Lesley's smokin fine brother, Aaron. xDD But in other news. MSU is SO beautiful. I was scared at the prospects of going of to University and stuff.. but after seeing what a dorm situation was like, I think I'll be ready next year. I think I can do it without freaking out. I hope Paige has fun, and I'm DEF gonna visit her. Yay cousin! She starts classes on Monday, and is going into Forensic Anthropology. From Lesley's books, it looks like she's going into Journalism or Media or some sort.
Today I was running around. Hospital, Police Report for Hospital, and Bus Pass. I ran into E. Williams, and Mr. (Leutenant Constable.. Cheif Inspector?) Russell. He's my dad's friend, and he works for the police. He looks very smart in his dress whites.
Tomorrow I think I'm hanging with Jeff? I hope I am, plans haven't been finalized.
Saturday Uncle John is in from Toronto/Georgetown. <3 KARAOKE PARTY!! Sunday Cousin Marc is in from Ottawa, so we're having a pizza party to say hi and everything. He's going back up Monday.
And then Next Wednesday I have a TB test for L'Hospital. Next Thursday is Registration for the 08/09 School Year.
Cross your fingers, and hope to god that the new grade 11 boys DON'T take Spanish. Because no matter how smokin fine they are, I don't think I could handle them in my class.
Uhm.. what else? Oh yeah. Please hope for me that I don't get Toni in any of my classes. (same reason as above.)
I'm kinda pumped for school to start again. But at the same time.. I don't know.
I just hope something great happens this year.

So my parents are gone for the week. They left on Saturday, and their coming back this coming Friday.
So Saturday I played Sid Meiers Civilizations. It rained so I didn't have to water the plants.
Sunday.. I played Civilizations I fixed the pool cause the stupid rocks my dad has to keep the sun blanket in place fell into the pool. Thank god I could reach them without going in. I hate swimming.
Today. I forgot to fall asleep.. probably because I lost track of time on Saturday and screwed with my sleep system. So I'll water the plants. Deal with the pool. (vaccuum) Feed myself. I keep forgetting.
Tuesday.. I have to change the chlorine.. and sort of get packed.
Then Wednesday I'm gonna wake up early so I'm fully awake by 2 when I'm leaving.. Two hour drive to Strathroy (It's near London) And I'm spending the night up there.. coming back thursday.
Note to self.. put the garbage out before you leave.
I already know what I'm wearing on Wednesday.. probably cause it's the only day I actually plan on getting dressed :P
Uhhh Olympics. I should be rooting for Canada, but I'm not. China always owns at Gymnastics and stuff.
But my loyalties lie with France.
But now.. I think... man I wish that someone would come over and keep me awake. Cause I'm doing like ''the 24 hour diet" except for my sleep cycle xDDD
Ehh oh and did you see what Idiot Numéro Un said today? George Bush was talking to Putin during the Opening ceremonies, and he told the news that they were talking about how atrocious it is that a war in Russia broke out during a time which is supposed to be about the peoples of the world gathering together in peace. Can you believe that?
But in other news. FRANCE POUR LES OLYMPIQUES. beijing08!!! I've been watching AND tiVOing the whole time. Cause.. like.. it's on so many channels at once!
Now I'm off to play civilizations.. maybe I'll watch some NCIS today too..
oh and shower. Don't forget to shower Chantal!

Would you do meth if it was legalized? No. I have no reason to think that my life would be better if I couldn't remember it now. Why should that change when laws change?
Abortion: for or against? It depends on the situation. By no means should a woman who has been raped be forced to carry through with the reminder of the incident just because abortion is illegal. But at the same time, people are using abortion as birth control, and that's not right. If you opt for the sex, then you opt for the possible consequences.
As I said in law class, a fetus is not a life. A fetus is a parasite. Like a parasite, it needs to survive by contact with the host cell. It cause extreme damage to the host while it is in habitat.
Would our country fall with a woman president? I don't think so. I just don't think that the right woman was up for the title. (As if I'm American..) I'd be a bit iffy about putting Hilary in office due to the fact that her husband already did it. So would we be electing a strong independent woman, or a team of Clinton?
Do you believe in the death penalty? Yes. I actually had to debate this in law class. My best argument, in my opinion was that if criminals knew that they would die the moment they committed a murder, they would take a lot longer deciding if it's worth it, and ultimately not do it. And that is what the Death Penalty represents for me. If only I could dig up my old arguments!
Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already? It doesn't matter. People are going to use it either way. In fact, legalization might stop people from using it. With the prohibition of alcohol in the 'roarin 20s' (a subject that my area is well versed with, due to our proximity with Walker Breweries, and a multitude of rum running tunnels) people were drinking more then ever, and when it was legalized, it slowed down, cause it wasn't a rush. People drink underage to be rebels, and people light up the herb to 'Fuck the System'.
Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized? Yes. Love is love. The end. It's a one sided argument, and all arguments against are facetious, and make little to no sense to a practical mind.
Do you think its wrong that so many Hispanics are moving to the US? I don't care.
A 12 year old girl has a baby... should she keep it? Her body wouldn't be able to handle the pressure of the pregnancy, in most medical opinion. She should only keep it if it is raised by her parents. She could not provide the child with a good life by herself. So I suppose, the answer to the question is no. Because she can't raise the child properly, and he parents would do it anyway. So while the child might live in the same household, it would not be her charge
Should the alcohol age be lowered to 18? Again, I don't care. I don't drink and I don't smoke. The only thing I wish is that the purchase of tobacco products is lowered to 18. The drinking age.. people are going to drink anyway.
Should the war in Iraq be called off? It never should have begun.
Assisted suicide is illegal..do you agree? No. But only in the case of Euthanasia, when the patient is completely and properly sure of the decision, incapable of committing the act him or herself, and in right mind. Again, argued in law class. Wish I could find my arguments.
Do you believe in spanking your children? Absolutely not.
Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars? Yes. Would I burn the flags of France or Quebec for a million dollars? No. But I would burn any other flag.
A mother is declared innocent after murdering her 5 children in a temporary insanity case..what do you think? You can't argue temporary insanity really. She might not feel guilt. But for sure she should be watched and any children she spawns should be taken away to prevent another incident.
Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers? Well, I'm sure they will. My real life friends (from law class) know I'm a monster with harsh views on life and the like.. so I'm sure thier reactions will be decent. Though I am interested to know what the internet thinks of someone who views things in the most logical manner possible, with barely a moral compass present to point.
